The legendary OS-250R V2 has evolved. We’ve leveraged decades of championship-winning racing heritage to introduce OS-250R V2 —the official successor to our original gold gear oil. Re-engineered for superior flow characteristics, OS-250R V2 delivers faster penetration into the clutch pack and more consistent lubrication, even under the most extreme thermal loads.

What’s New?

• OS-250R V2 now supersedes the original OS250-R formula. As we transition our inventory, OS-250R V2 becomes the new global standard for all OS Giken mechanical LSDs.

• Signature Blue Tint: Now featuring a distinct blue color to differentiate it from the original gold formula.

• OS-250R V2 is compatible and can be mixed with any remaining original OS250-R.

• Pull-tab type cap to ensure better seal and product shelf-life. 

Despite its ultra-high 250-grade viscosity, the fluid maintains an 80W low-temperature rating. This ensures immediate protection for your friction discs from the very first turn. Built on a premium PAO and Polyol Ester base, our proprietary S/P/B (Sulfur-Phosphorus-Boron) additive package surpasses API GL-5 standards, creating a reinforced oil film that laughs at extreme pressure.

OS-250R V2 is optimized specifically to refine LSD lock-up timing, delivering the progressive and predictable engagement that defines the OS Giken experience. Advanced friction modifiers eliminate chatter and vibration, allowing you to bridge the gap between driver and machine.

SAE Rated at 80w-250, it is the top choice by race teams for protection and durability, yet maintains streetlike-driveability. (Not recommended for transaxle applications.)
